AUSTRALIA – AU-41 / 2 Students

MINISTRY TEAM.  Ministry interns, in teams of two, will be assigned to a Baptist church for the summer.  Students will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of ministries within the church and community.  Specific needs include youth and children’s ministry, drama, music and religious education in state schools.  Every effort will be made to match gifts and interests of the students with the needs of the churches.  PARTNER

CENTRAL & SOUTHERN ASIA – CA-30 / 1 Male

TRAVELING SPORTS TEAM, Kyrgyzstan, former USSR.  Score some points with an unreached people group in Central Asia by sharing your abilities in sports.  Your team will travel through six villages to build relationships through sports clinics.  Become part of remote village life in the rugged mountains of Kyrgyzstan!  Basketball, volleyball, wrestling will all open doors as you share the eternal game plan with people.  This is one championship match you will not want to miss.  TEAM

CENTRAL & SOUTHERN ASIA – CA-31 /  1 Male, 1 Female

TRAVELING ENGLISH TEAM, Kyrgyzstan, former USSR.  Great opportunity for an ESL (English as a second language) team to serve among an unreached people group.  You will travel through six villages teaching English through drama, music, films, games, arts, etc.  This journey offers cultural exchange, variety, relationship building and adventure in a beautiful, rugged mountainous region. Become part of remote village life in the rugged mountains of Kyrgyzstan!  Share you Hope with a people who have no hope.  Come make the difference!  TEAM

CENTRAL & SOUTHERN ASIA – CA-32 / 2 Students

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TEAM, Kyrgyzstan, former USSR.  Cultural Exchange opportunity to learn about an unreached people group in Central Asia.  You will experience life in a remote village, learning ancient skills of a once nomadic people and offering your knowledge of English and the American culture.  You will also have the chance to live out your faith in Jesus as you represent Him here.  Your presence will open doors for the work to begin and grow.  He is asking you to be the one.  PARTNER

GAZA – GZ-19 / 1 Male, 1 Female

ENGLISH CAMP.  An ESL (English as a second language) team of six enthusiastic college students will make friends with high school and college students while teaching English at the Baptist Library in Gaza.  Learning local customs and culture and sharing love, faith, and life experiences with new friends will be an important part of this ministry.  TEAM

PHILIPPINES  - PH-56 /  2 Students

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE, Butuan City.  An exciting opportunity for five teams of 2 students each to work along the Agusan River on the island of Mindanao in the southern Philippines.  Each team will be assigned to a public high school and will be teaching ESL and leading Bible studies in the schools.  These teams will also be assisting our local churches in youth outreach.  These assignments are very rural and primitive, traveling as far as three hours up river. This is what most people think of when they think of missions!  We need some soldiers who are not afraid to get muddy for Jesus!

THAILAND – TH-42 / 2 Students

STUDENT EVANGELISM/CHURCH PLANTING, Bangkok.  Gateway City in the 10/40 Window – one of the least evangelized parts of the planet – Bangkok, Thailand!  There are one million university students in this city of 10 million.  Less than 1% (0.25%) of the population is evangelical Christian.  Be part of a Thai church planting team to evangelize an unreached university with 20,000 students.  Your summer will include an evangelistic upcountry trip to an unreached people group of Thailand.  You will have high visibility on campus and a ministry to hundreds of students.  The summer will culminate in a large joint evangelistic retreat in tropical Thailand with the new church being planted.  TEAM

UKRAINE – UKR-43 / 1 Student

ORPHANAGES, YOUTH CAMPS, KIDS,  Xharkov.  Be a part of a great opportunity to reach youth and children in camp and orphanage settings.  Students will be part of a team working with the career missionary.  Opportunities will include discipleship, evangelism, outreach and Backyard Bible Clubs.

WALES – WA-79 / 2 Males, 2 Females

General Ministry Team, Manchester, England.  The Baptist Union of Wales has been in decline for the last 80 years, going from a membership of 140k to just a bit more than 20k.  Summer missionaries will help reach new younger families through contact with their children and youth.  Be a part of an ongoing ministry to youth and children with an objective of sharing the Gospel  with the lost people of Welsh-speaking communities (only English necessary for student missionaries).  Students will be a part of an on-going Welsh language instruction during the summer!  Help with Bible studies and youth groups.  The country is made up of many villages in isolated rugged countryside, with some towns of about 10,000 people.  Teams will work assisting the local churches.  Students will most likely stay in Welsh homes of church members.  TEAM

Skills:  Youth, children, relational and strong desire to learn of another culture and language for the summer to help reach people.
